Martha L. Beaty May 22, 1934 - June 6, 2009 Martha L. Beaty, 75, a resident of Greenfield, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Golden Living Center Brandywine, Greenfield, IN. She was born May 22, 1934 in Lawrence, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Jake and Mary (Marshall) Thomas. Mrs. Beaty worked as a credit manager for Regency Electronics from 1972-1992. She was an assistant in the guidance office at the Alvin C. York Institute in Jamestown, TN from 1993-2004 and worked for the Hancock County Senior Services in Greenfield from 2005- 2009. She enjoyed making crafts. She is survived by a daughter, Kay (Rick) Eller of Greenfield and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cecil "Chigger" Beaty in 1998; two sisters, Edna Mae Gil and Arleene Curry. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Mundy Funeral Home, 229 S. Main Street Jamestown, TN 38556. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Fentress Memory Gardens, Jamestown. The family of Mrs. Beaty will be having a memorial service at a later date in Greenfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield.
