Martha Niedenthall

Martha Niedenthall, age 102 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 in Greenfield. She was born on August 2, 1914 in Swayzee, IN to the late James Sr. & Ethel Woods. Martha graduated from Swayzee High School in 1932 and soon after moved to Greenfield. In 1936 she married Andrew J. Niedenthall and they set about making their dreams come true of owning a farm. Martha was employed at Marsh; several banks; and most recently at Walmart as a greeter. She volunteered 10 years at Hancock Memorial Hospital. She belonged to the Center Homemakers Club; Nameless Creek Literary Club; and was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church in Greenfield. Surviving Martha is her son, Jim Niedenthall Sr. of Greenfield; daughter, Jane (Steve) Bundy of Greenfield; grandchildren, Christopher (Sarah) Bundy of Brockport, NY; and Tracy (Brent) Montgomery of Fortville. Preceding Martha in death are her parents, husband, Andrew Niedenthall; and brother, Dr. James Woods Jr. Friends may visit from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Park Cemetery, 621 S. State St, Greenfield, IN 46140 with Rev. Linda Brackney officiating.
