Martin A. "Sonny" Anderson January 13, 1939 - August 24, 2010 Martin A. "Sonny" Anderson age 71 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away at his home Tuesday morning August 24, 2010. He was born January 13, 1939 in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Martin and Margie (Garrett) Anderson. Sonny retired in 2001 as a concrete finisher for Anderson Construction, was a member of the Greenfield VFW and Sons of the American Legion. He loved to deer hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife Ethel (Porter) Anderson whom he married on January 19, 1963, daughter, Doris E. (Brian Johnson) Anderson of Greenfield, son-in-law, Brad McClarnon of Greenfield, brothers, Eugene (Mary Ann) Anderson of Greensburg, KY, Matthew Anderson of Letcher Co., KY, sisters, Edna (Franklin) Austin of Haymond, KY, Lena (Jim) Cobb of West Virginia, Nadine (Harry) Nibert of West Virginia, Betty (Troy) Gross of Berea, KY,; grandsons, Aaron, Chase McClarnon; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Mary Ann McClarnon, Diana Lynn Anderson, brothers, Leroy, Paul, Kenneth, Bobby Anderson, sisters, Imogene Bullion and Peggy Madden. Visitation will be Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice or the Central Indiana Cancer Society. Comments Where to begin!
