Mary-Anne Raney March 11, 1945 - September 25, 2008
Mary-Anne Raney, 63 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, September 25th at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis. Mary-Anne was born March 11, 1945 in Newmarket, England to the late Harry and Evelyn (Jones) Chadwick.
She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Portland, OR. and received her teaching degree from Indiana University. Mary-Anne also served in the U.S. Army, W.A.C. from 1965-1967. On November 25, 1966 she married M. Stephen Raney. Together they have lived in Greenfield for 42 years and raised two daughters; Stephanie Raney of Greenfield and Suzanne (Greg) Litteral of Indianapolis.
Mary-Anne spent 26 years as a teacher within the Greenfield Central School Corporation with most of those years spent as a fifth grade teacher at Eden Elementary. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.
Mrs. Raney is also survived by one brother Craig Chadwick of Woodburn, OR, sisters; Anna Peterson of Salem, OR, Claire Lawler of Woodburn, OR and Susie Duman of Portland, OR., stepmother, Mary Chadwick, Woodburn, OR, mother-in-law, Dorothy Raney of Greenfield, sisters-in-law; Linda (Lin) Parsons of Greenfield, Liz (Bill) Horn of Carmel and Mickey (Reese) Meyers of Warsaw.
Friends may call Monday, September 29th, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home~Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A private family memorial service will be held later that evening.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Community Home Health Service Hospice, 9894 East 121st Street, Fishers, IN 46037.

Mike and family, I was so sad to hear of Mary-Anne's passing. She was always a gracious lady and I " considered her a friend, along with you. In times like this it's difficult living so far away and being unable to pay my respect to you and your family. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Mike: Jerry & I are so sad about Mary-Anne. I wish we would have known about it sooner & " we would have been there for you. Let us know if there is anything we can do.
