Mary C. Bentley

Mary C. Bentley age 97 years, a lifelong resident of Greenfield passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at Community Hospital South, Indianapolis. She was born August 5, 1918 in Greenfield, Ind. to the late Paul and Arlie (Tague) Bell. She was a homemaker and worked along side of her husband working their farm for over 50 years. Mary was a member of O.E.S., Psi Iota, Greenfield Country Club, Daughters of the Revolutionary War, Tuesday Bridge Club, was an avid golfer, reader and loved traveling abroad. She is survived by her son, Robert (Kay) Bentley, Jr. of Franklin, grandson, Brian Bentley of Greenfield and great grandchildren, Cody Bentley of Florida and Amber Bentley of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert L. Bentley, Sr. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday September 9, 2015 at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mary's honor may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL. 33607.
