Mary “Jane” Hargreaves, 79 years, a resident of Cumberland, passed away August 28, 2026 at her residence. She was born May 18, 1947 in Peru, Indiana to the late Herschel and Mary Beth (Wagner) Wheeler.

She graduated from Peru High School in 1965, attended Indiana University, Bloomington and was a homemaker. Jane enjoyed quilting, painting bird houses and flower gardening.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (Wendolyn) Natalie, a brother, Richard Wheeler, 3 grandchildren , Nathan Natalie, Austin Natalie and Nolan Natalie.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, her husband, Robert Henry Hargreaves and a brother, David Wheeler.

A private family graveside service will be held at New Palestine Cemetery, New Palestine, Indiana. Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Hendryx Chapel Cumberland is honored to have cared for Jane and her family at this difficult time,
