Mary M. Howe April 28, 1916 - May 31, 2010 Mary M. Howe April 28, 1916 May 31, 2010 On April 28, 1916 Dr. and Mrs. Charles E. Sharp brought a bundle of joy into this world. On May 31, 2010, at Springhurst Healthcare, The Lord Jesus Christ took our Mother to be with them in Heaven. Mom (Nan Nan) will be missed by all who knew her. But she has been looking forward to this day to be with her best friend on this earth, her Daddy. Dr. Sharp died on Fathers day 1969. We are sad, but also know she is in a better place. She is no longer in pain. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School, attended and graduated with honors from the Indianapolis Business College and worked as a secretary for most of her life. She worked for the Indiana State Auditors office and INDOT of Indianapolis and Greenfield. She also worked for Roll Coater of Greenfield. She served as a precinct committee woman for the Republican party and as head of the election committee. She was a member of Bradley U.M.C., Psi Iota Xi, Greenfield American Legion Auxiliary, 40 & 8, the Clio Club and was a founding member of Bookmark. She spent her retirement years cross stitching and reading. She is survived by her children, Marci (Gary ) Roessler, South Boardman, MI, Mary Lou Jones, Greenfield, Stephen (Karen) Murphy, Sherman, TX, 10 grandchildren, Jeff Barksdale, Juli Newland, Johnner Roessler, Torrie Miller, Tammy Seaman, Gary M. Roessler, Jason Jones, Mike Jones, Chad Murphy, Kyle Murphy, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Edmen Curtis Murphy, 2nd husband, Raymond J. Howe, sister, Dorothy Hopkins, brother, Charles Sharp, Jr. and son-in-law Ray E. Jones. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys and Girls Club of Hancock County, P.O. Box 115, Greenfield, IN 46140
