Mary Raper Lacey August 1, 1911 - August 6, 2010 Mary Raper Lacey age 99 years, a resident of Indianapolis, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at West Side Village Nursing Center. Born August 1, 1911 in Greenfield, Indiana and is the daughter of the late Samie and Dora (Merchant) Kingen. She was a graduate of Mt. Comfort High School and retired after 20 years of service from Lumbermans Insurance. She attended West Side Church of The Nazarene. Surviving are daughter, Barbara Billingsley of Indianapolis; son, Marvin (Mary Jane) Raper of Indianapolis, step-daughter, Electa (Paul) Bessler of West Harrison, IN; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Martha (Charles) Praed of Indianapolis. . Preceded in death by her 1st husband, Fredrick K. Raper and 2nd husband, Edward Lacey; two sisters, Helen Willard, Ruth Love and a brother, Gerald Kingen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel in Greenfield with Norman Phillip Officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
