Mary Evelyn Orr June 25, 1912 - March 2, 2007 Mary Evelyn Orr, 94, passed away on March 2, 2007 at Brandywine Nursing Home, Greenfield, IN. Fondly known as "Tooie", Mrs. Orr was born June 25, 1912, in Frankfort, OH, to Lee S. and Dona (Briggs) Putnam. Mrs. Orr resided in Frankfort for over 75 years. She married Paul Everett Orr on November 4, 1933. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother. Mrs. Orr is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David Putnam and Sharon Orr of Duncansville, PA, granddaughter Lisa, and step-granddaughters Katherine and Stacy. Also surviving is a daughter and son-in-law Patricia (Orr) and Paul G. Allemeier of Greenfield, IN, and grandsons Paul D. Allemeier, Madison, AL, John D. Allemeier, Raleigh, NC, Steven A. Allemeier, Carmel, IN, and Philip L. Allemeier, Indianapolis, IN. Mrs. Orr had nine great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. After moving to Salem, IN, Mrs. Orr became a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and the Washington County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She provided many hours of volunteer service for the patients, staff and visitors to the hospital. Mrs. Orr relocated to Greenfield, IN with her daughters family in 2006. Mrs. Orrs visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Wednesday March 7, 2007. Memorial service will be held at 2PM Wednesday March 7, 2007 at Pasco Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield, IN with Rev. Mike Manning officiating. The graveside service will be held on June 25, 2007, in Frankfort, OH.
