Mary E. Shuler

Mary E. Shuler, age 95 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Brandywine Golden Living Center in Greenfield. She was born on October 28, 1921 in Marion, IN to the late William Earl & Regina Cecilia (Price) Sloderbeck. Mary graduated high school from Indiana Academy in Cicero, IN and would spend her career working in the clerical banking department. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church in Carmel, IN. Mary loved gardening, flowers & crafts including wood carving and crocheting. Surviving Mary is her daughter, Kathleen (Roger) McKinney of Greenfield; Miriam Hope Dailey of Lexington, SC; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; 1st husband, Rex Anderson; 2nd husband Stephen Shuler; sons, James and Richard Anderson; brother, William Sloderbeck; and grandson, William Anderson. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor David Tenold officiating.
