Mary Francis Stanley

Mary Francis Stanley, age 92, of Indianapolis passed away September 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 28, 1929, in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Gordon and Lula (Sparks) Adams. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to sing and spend time with her family. Her door was always open, and she was an amazing hostess. She enjoyed cooking for everyone, and you never left her house hungry. Mary is survived by her children; Shannon (Thomas) Hild, Sharon (Farris) Eversole, Tammie Sparks, Linda (Steven) Ostewig, Teriea (Todd) Bryant, and Joe (Michelle) Stanley; sisters, Freeda Mason, and Nancy Keathley; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; husbands, Wendall Sparks and Ernest Stanley; son, Terry Sparks; and 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service 4:00 pm, Sunday with Pastor Matt Wickham officiating. Burial will be 10:30 am, Monday, September 27, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
