Maurice A. Brooks

Maurice A. Brooks, 79 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born January 14, 1937 in Indianapolis to the late Lester M. and Velma (Johnson) Brooks. Maurice was a graduate of Mount Comfort High School and a Machinist for Navistar, International Harvester prior to his retirement in 1989. He was a devoted member of Shadeland Baptist Church, Indianapolis. He is survived by his children; Cynthia (Pat) Smith, Coral (Don) Moir all of North Vernon, Peggy (Tom White) Harrison-Findlay of Anderson, Rick (Connie Cunningham) Harrison of Spiceland, David Grooms of Anderson, Prenciss D. Grooms of Darlington, Michael (Trudy) Abrams of Carrollton, KY, brother; Phillip (Janet) Brooks, grandchildren; Brooks (Ashley) Smith, Leah (Adam) Russelburg, James Earl, Fonda (Josh) Marr, Danielle (Mark) Williams, Nicholas (Danielle) Earl, Anthony (Anna) Moir, Heather (Tony) Urban, Ralph Joseph (Kaylin) Means, Candy Harrison, Elisha Harrison, Andrew Grooms, Amie (Johnny) Tolliver, Bill Goodman, Brian Goodman, Michael Abrams, Matthew Abrams, Amanda Abrams and Chris Abrams. Preceding him in death are his parents; wife Sara Brooks and brother; Howard Brooks.
