Max D. Purcell

Max Dwight Purcell, 85, of Carthage, IN passed away at his residence on April 2, 2022. He was born to the late Clyde and Edith (Church) Purcell on March 24, 1937, in Morristown, IN. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Fisher) Purcell; 6 children, Mike (Jane) Jack, Debe Miller, Mark (Brenda) Jack, Tonyia Fuller Purcell, David (Joan) Purcell and Andrew (Gina) Purcell; his sister, Martha Marshall; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and first wife, Donna Jean (Bowers) Purcell, he was preceded in death by a son, Tony Jack, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Services for Max will be Thursday April 7, 2022, at 2PM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield, IN 46140. Friends may visit from 11AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center or to Suburban Hospice, Inc, both located at 801 N.
