Maxine B. Richwine November 30, 1916 - July 15, 2009 Maxine B. Richwine, 92, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Brandywine. She was born November 30, 1916 in Hancock County and was the daughter of the late Earl R. and Goldie B. (Green) Smith. Maxine was a 1934 graduate of Maxwell High School and retired from Sears. She was a part of the Washington Square Mall Walkers and was a member of the Dizzy Dozen Bunco Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by six children; Charles (Almeta) Gant of Anderson; Ray (Pat) Gant of Greenfield; David (Lois) Apple of Wisconsin; Sarah Richardson of Greenfield; Janie (Larry) Andis of Greenfield; Betty (Harlan) Epperson of Huntingburg, IN; three step-children, Linda (Lee) Klotz of Lafayette, IN; Greg and George Richwine, both of Minneapolis, MN; 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands, Ted Gant, Harold Apple and George F. Richwine; brothers, Max, Raymond and Paul Smith. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor Micheal Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday, July 17, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be submitted to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th Street Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278.
