Melinda Sue (Casada) Bryant

Melinda Sue (Casada) Bryant, 51, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on May 21, 1971, in Indianapolis to Grover Casada and Juanita Owens. Melinda graduated high school in 1989.

Melinda was a tremendously loving sister, aunt, friend, and coworker to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Melinda was employed with American Health Network/Optum Health for many years as a lab assistant. She loved life. She had a heart of gold and was very loving, caring, and giving. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren. And did we mention her love for bloody mary's?

She is survived by her siblings: Billy Stacey, Teresa Stacey, Aric Casada, Jennifer Casada, and Mark Casada; niece, Kimberly; additional nieces; nephews; honorary friend and best friend for many years, Lorraine Clarey; honorary aunt, Kay Jones; honorary daughter, Casey; Mimi to Aaliyah and Wyatt; and beloved cat, Gidget.

Melinda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Alan Bryant.

A memorial visitation will be on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home-Cumberland Chapel, 11636 East Washington Street, Indianapolis.
