Mi Yong Lindsey

Mi Yong "Viola" Lindsey (Sung) age 63, Passed away Monday morning September 22, 2025 at St Francis Hospital. She was born on February 23, 1962 in Seoul, South Korea. She received her associate's degree in accounting from Ivy Tech before starting her own business as an entrepreneur. Mi Yong was also known as a home maker to her son and family. On October 8 1982, Mi Yong married the love of her life, James Lindsey.

Mi Young loved cats and her family. She would often go to car shows with her late husband. In her free time she sewed and could be found watching Korean TV. She took great pride in her role as neighborhood mom and grandma, caring for everyone around her. She was and active member of the Korean Catholic Church of Our Lady of Holy Rosary.

She is Survived by her son James(Cynthia Lippitz) Lindsey; her two brothers and one sister in Korea, father-in law, James Hobbs; and her four "grand-kitties" Izabella, Tazmanian  "Tanzy", Carmella, Billikens.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law Allie Hobbs, husband James Edward Lindsey; and her sister.

Visitation will be held Saturday September 27th from 11 -1pm Service to follow from 1-2 at Our Lady of Holy Rosary Korean Catholic Church 7556 E 46th ST Indianapolis, IN 46226
