Michael G. Dougherty

Michael G. Dougherty, age 54 of Frankton, IN passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at his home in Frankton. He was born on July 9, 1962 in Greenfield, IN to the late Arthur & Margaret (Archibald) Dougherty. Michael graduated from Greenfield-Central High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He would later attend the ATA Training Academy in Indianapolis. Michael married the love of his Christina (Hull) McGilliard on August 4, 1995. He then spent his career as an Airline Mechanic with Republic Airways until his retirement. Michael was a member of the Frankton American Legion; NRA & ASPCA. Surviving Michael is his wife, Christina Dougherty of Frankton, IN. Preceding Michael in death are his parents who are listed above; and brother, Arthur P. Dougherty. Visitation for Michael will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Glendale Christian Church, 1788 Haynes Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46240. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am immediately following the visitation also at the church. Burial will be held at a later date.
