Michael Earl Mattingly

Michael Earl Mattingly, 69 years, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born May 4, 1956, in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Michael and Virginia (Kennedy) Mattingly.

He retired in 2015, after many years of service for Stoops Freightliner. Michael liked working with his hands, he enjoyed leather working, automobile upholstery, and woodworking. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.

He is survived by longtime companion and wife, Kelli (McGuire) Mattingly, whom he married on April 22, 2006, son, Mitchell Mattingly, sisters, Sarah (Rick Spangler) Mattingly, Teresa Dillard, and niece Rachel (Eric) O'Dell, nephew Patrick (Jennifer) Clouse and Adenn McGuire.

Michael's wishes were to be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140, is honored to care for Michael and his family.
