Michael Paul Mccoy

Michael Paul McCoy, 35, Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2023. Michael was born on April 6, 1988, in Indianapolis, IN, to Gary Dean and Mary Jane (Porter) McCoy. Michael is a 2006 graduate of New Palestine High School. On June 1, 2019, he married Amanda Christine Dungan.

Michael was a tremendously loving husband, father, brother, son, grandson, and friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Michael was owner/operator of Hoosier Outdoor Solutions, LLC. He was a simple man, and his personality was easy going and he was everyone's friend. He was a jack-of-all trades, but had a love for cars, car maintenance, racing, and farming. He was a grill and smoke master. He loved his wife, children, family, and friends.

He is survived by his loving parents, Gary and Mary McCoy; loving wife, Amanda Dungan; their children, Wyatt Dean and Rylie Lynn McCoy; siblings, Deborah McCoy and Marc (Jacqueline) McCoy; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; father-in-law, Brian Dungan; brother-in-law, Travis (Ali) Dungan; and nieces & nephews: Jarrod, Cole, Parker, Brantley, Colton, and Connor.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herschel and June McCoy and Richard and Radonna Porter; and mother-in-law, Cindy (Schildmier) Dungan.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home is of service to the McCoy and Dungan families. Visitation will be on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 6513 W. 300 S., New Palestine, IN 46163, and again on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., also at Zion Lutheran Church. The memorial service will start at 11:00 a.m. Please consider wearing casual dress clothing as Michael was a simple man.
