Michael Allen Moncrief, age 63 of Greenfield, IN passed away at home during the early morning hours of Monday, June 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving family as they sang his favorite song, "Theres Something About That Name".
Michael was born February 18, 1954 to Robert & Alice Moncrief and was raised in Greenfield. He graduated from Greenfield-Central High School in 1972. Mike was an avid track runner in high school and still holds county records as a member of the mile and 880 relay teams.

Mike married Pamela (Reed) Moncrief, his high school sweetheart in 1974. Together they raised their family in Greenfield. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. A very favorite pastime was riding his Can-Am Spyder. He was a man of deep faith and was a member of Northside Christian Church. Mike will be remembered by his family and friends for his selfless character, his testimony of strength and faith, and his determination to make every day count. No matter the odds, he never quit. He was always quick to provide support and encouragement with his loving words of affirmation, "Whatever it takes!"
