Michael W. Renfro October 7, 1948 - December 3, 2009
Michael W. Renfro, 61, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, December 03, 2009 at his residence.
He was born October 7, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana and was the son of the late Richard and Phyllis (Haskell) Renfro White.
Michael was a 1966 graduate of Greenfield High School, attended management school in Nebraska while working for REMC, served in the U.S. Marine Corp., and retired in 2003 as V.P. of Operations at Central Indiana Power. He was a member of BASS, F.L.W., Professional Anglers Association, F & AM Morristown lodge, York Rite, Shriners, VFW, NRA and Past President of the Greenfield Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Marijane Renfro of Greenfield; son, Kenneth H. (Jennifer) Renfro of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Christopher Michael and Paige Elise Renfro; sisters, Kathy (Fred) Nicholson of TN, Becky Reiser of Indianapolis; brother, Karl "Andy" Renfro of Greenfield; step-sisters, Carol (Bob) Gwynn-Vaughan, Sally (Jim) Agin, Linda (Charles) Walker, Jami (Mike) Zimmerman; step-brother, Jim (Teresa) White.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Marks, step-father, Carl (Bob) White, step- sister, Dixie White.
A Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Bradley United Methodist Church, Greenfield. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Military rites will be given by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield.

Marijane I am so sorry to here that Michael passed away. I heard of this yesterday, and felt like someone hit me in the stomach with a hammer, and I know you feel " worse. Reflecting on our childhood, Mike was a part of everything good in my youth, and then into adulthood. I always wished we could have seen more of each other, you and Kenny will be in my prayers..I will miss my friend....MIke
