Michael Smith October 2, 1919 - September 22, 2010 Michael Smith, 90, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Regency Place of Greenfield. He was born October 2, 1919 in New York City, NY to the late John and Mary (Pauluch) Smith. Michael served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force and Normandy during WWII. He was a retired mechanic. He is survived by daughters, Barbara Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Karen Sullivan of Indianapolis, IN, Patricia Smith; son, Christopher J. Smith; sister, Rose Montaina of Marblehead, MA; nephew, Michael Montaina of New Jersey; niece, Bettina Perez of Marblehead, MA; nephew, Charles Perez of Marblehead; son-in-law, Steve Hammans of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Smith, February 13, 2010. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimers Association or Disabled American Veterans.
