Myrtle Bray, 96 years, of Greenfield passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Golden Living, Willow Springs, Indianapolis. She was born September 9, 1923 in Hancock County, Indiana to the late Lee Roy and Clara (Hendren) Boles. Myrtle was a graduate of Greenfield High School and married Raymond Bray on February 14, 1947 and together they made their home in Greenfield and raised their daughter, Jeanine. Prior to her retirement in 1989, Myrtle enjoyed a 46-year career with P. R. Mallory & Co., Indianapolis, where she hired on with Judy Houser, they have been best of friends ever since. She was a long-time member of 1st Presbyterian Church and the Hancock County Democratic Party. She is survived by her 3 nieces, Linda Harding Pope, Melva Harding Smith, Sue Harding Wells, several nieces and nephews. Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Bray; daughter, Jeanine Bray; and sisters, Anna Boles, Mildred Bryant, Martha Harding, brothers Roy, Charles and Robert Boles. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 1:p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. with entombment immediately following at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Hancock County Humane Society, 214 E.
