Nadine (Liston) McCreery

Nadine (Liston) McCreery, 96, New Palestine, IN, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. Nadine was born into a large family of 13 children on March 7, 1929, in Lawrence County, Illinois, to parents Forrest Parker and Ellen Amanda (Miller) Liston.

Nadine loved to spend time with her grandchildren, play sudoku, and watch football and basketball on TV. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler. And when she was amble, she loved to spend time in her flower gardens.

Nadine is survived by her loving children: Ellen Nadine Branson, Garnet D. (Michael) Lackey, Nancy K. Turner, and Lynn Jolly; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ray Liston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father-of-her children, Paul David Houser; daughter, Pallas Houser; grandson, Jonathan Michael Lackey; and 11 siblings.
