Nancy A. Steele July 20, 1942 - April 20, 2014 Nancy A. Steele, age 71 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Life Path Hospice, Florida. Nancy was born July 20, 1942 in Marion County, Indiana to the late C.C. and Mary (Sanford) Cochard. Nancy received her nursing diploma from St. Elizabeths School of Nursing in Lafayette, IN. She served as a Registered Nurse for 50 years and completed her career with Community Hospital Home Health in 2004. Nancy was an avid reader, loved to shop and go antiquing. Her greatest hobby was her grandkids and family. Nancy is survived by her husband; Lewis Frank Steele of Greenfield, sons; Robert Steele of Pendleton, Scott Wilson of Greenfield, Clinton (Amy) Steele of Clarksville, TN., daughters; Susanne (Frank) Stricker of McCordsville, Brena (Tom) Daffron of Terre Haute and Jenny (Seth) Wuethrich of Greenfield, brothers; David (Linda) Cochard, Jan (Gwen) Cochard, Brian (Deborah) Cochard, sister; Carol (Steve) Pool and 10 grandchildren. Friends may call Friday, April 25 from 4 until 8 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, April 26 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Pastor David Woods will officiate.
