Nathaniel J. Musick

Nathaniel John Musick, 26, of Carmel, IN passed away on August 21, 2022 at his residence. He was born to M Bill Musick and Cynthia Ann (C.Ann) Beard on February 12, 1996 in Indianapolis, IN. Nathaniel was a 2014 graduate of New Palestine High School. He briefly attended USI in Evansville, and then received an Associates Degree in CyberSecurity from IVY Tech, and a Bachelors Degree in CyberSecurity from Western Governor's University.
Nathaniel served honorably in the 219th Engineer Brigade in the Indiana Army National Guard in Franklin, IN for 6 years as a Geospatial Engineer.
Nathaniel loved hanging out with his family and many friends. He liked running, walking, and weight-lifting. His friends often called him Natty. He enjoyed staying up late with his friends playing video games, and hiking in the parks. He enjoyed traveling and exploring. He loved going out to eat and trying new foods. He loved his dogs, which most recently included Buddy and Bella.
He is survived by his mother and father, his brother, Noah J Musick (Hannah Henshaw), his sister, Anna M Ballenger (Jason), his nephews Braden and Vance Musick, his nieces, Lainey Musick, and Lillian and Grace Ballenger. He has several aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides of his family.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by his grandparents.
