Nellie J. Kopp

Nellie Joan Kopp, age 90 of New Palestine passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2023. She was born February 8, 1933 in Lyons, Nebraska to the late Axle and Laura Hansen.

Nellie was an avid word game and word puzzler. She enjoyed playing poker and vegetable gardening. Prior to her retirement, Nellie was a self-employed bookkeeper in the trucking industry.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Jeannie Stivers) Kopp; daughter, Brianna (Alan) Memis; grandchildren, Cody Kopp, Kaylan Memis, and Rebekka Memis. She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; husband Richard Kopp; son, Ricky Kopp; grandson, Jason Kopp; and siblings, Edward Hansen, and Irene Hansen.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Hendryx Chapel, 19 East Main Street, New Palestine. Indiana 46163. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
