Nellie B. Leach

Nellie B. (Nell) Leach, age 91 of New Palestine, IN passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born in Peytonsburg, KY on February 27, 1925 to Martha (Capps) Spears and Bal Spears. Nellie married Ralph Leach on November 12, 1965. She worked 30 years as a lay-out operator for Western Electric Co. Nellie was a member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church and Telephone Pioneers of America. Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Carolyn (Eddie) Lyon; Barbara (Jim) Slone; Sheila (Charlie) Holliday; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and her sister Nettie Ree Martin. She is preceded in death by a baby daughter, Janet and her husband, Ralph Leach. Visitation Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. The funeral will take place at 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday, April 8, 2016. Entombment will follow the service at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
