Norah Monahan

Norah T. Monahan, age 74, of Shirley passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis. She was born April 14, 1942 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to the late Patrick J. and Norah (Cullinane) Monahan. Norah was a wonderful sister and friend. She loved to visit with friends and had the wonderful ability to tell stories of days gone by. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary #0152. Norah will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by brother; Dan (Donna) Monahan of Warren, NJ, sister; Kathleen Carney of The Villages, FL, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many close friends. Norah is preceded in death by her parents; life partner George Georgiev, son Christopher McKeown and brother John Monahan. Friends may call 10 am noon, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral will be 12 pm at the funeral home with burial immediately following at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson.
