Norman C. Bohnert March 5, 1947 - June 16, 2013 Norman C. Bohnert, 66 of Knightstown passed away, Sunday, June 16, 2013. He was born March 5, 1947 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Robert H. and Marjorie (Neuman) Bohnert. Norman attended Saint Meinrads Seminary for three years, graduated from Jasper High School in 1965 and was a 1969 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington. He was a State Farm agent for the past 39 years in the Indianapolis and Cumberland area. Norman was active in his community and spent time actively involved with the Memory Gardens Veterans Memorial, Knightstown, Make a Difference Knightstown, Inc. and Pheasants Forever. He is survived by wife of 45 years Ruthie (Jahn) Bohnert of Knightstown, mother; Marjorie Bohnert of Jasper, Indiana, sons; Trevor Jahn (Kathryn) Bohnert of Knightstown, Nathan (Michelle) Bohnert of Columbia, SC and Christopher Bohnert of Greenwood, Indiana, brother; Robert (Monica) Bohnert of Sparta, IL., sister; Nancy (Michael) Smith of San Diego, CA. and grandchildren; Michael and Thomas Bohnert of Knightstown, Lilly, Alex and Scarlet Bohnert of Columbia SC and Reese, Lane and Cole Bohnert of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his father; Robert H Bohnert. Friends may call Friday, June 21, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 3:30 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield , IN 46140. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd., Greenfield, IN. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown.
