Norman Lee Collins

Norman Lee Collins, age 72, of Carthage, passed away on September 1, 2019 at ST. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 15, 1947, in Whitesburg, KY to the late Hubert Lee Collins & Minnie (Adams) Collins. Norman attended Arsenal Tech High School. He married the love of his life, Mary Collins, on May 4, 1979. Norman spent his career as a Service Tech for Kerr Refrigeration until his retirement after 40 plus years of service. Norman enjoyed fishing, hunting & westerns. He also enjoyed a good "swig" of bourbon and it was said he was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his precious family who he loved dearly. Left to cherish Normans memory are his wife; Mary Collins, son; Chris (Jessica) Collins, 2 grandchildren; Cody Mayberry and Cali Collins, special niece and nephews; Lea Ann Hall, Greg Hall and Billy Swims, as well as, many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Norman is proceeded in death by his parents listed above; His first wife Marie (Burns) Collins, 2 daughters Bridget Collins Mayberry and Siobahn Collins, two sisters; Faye (Bill) Swims and Betty (P.J.) Hall. Visitation for Norman will be from 4:00 to 8:00pm on Friday September 6, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Funeral Service will be at the funeral home on Saturday September 7, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial will immediately follow the Funeral Service at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
