Norman Carroll Fox, 92, Freedom, IN, passed away with his loving family by his side. Norman was born on May 2, 1932, in Shelby County to Donald and Ruth (Miller) Fox. He married the love of his life, Mary Cox, on May 25, 1949.
Norman was a simple, quiet man. He always strived for the best. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, lawnmowing, and gardening. He was the keeper of his kingdom on a beautiful landscape filled with trees, ponds, and wildlife. He loved dogs and had many beloved ones over the years. He worked as a clerk for Western Electric for 30years before retiring.
Norman is survived by his loving children: Carol (Fred) Flagle, Steve (Mary Jo) Fox, and Debbie (Ray) Flagle; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Larry Charles Fox; and many nieces and nephews.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary of 74 years; son, Rick Fox; and siblings: Robert Fox, Jerry Fox, and Bill Fox.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home- Hendryx Cumberland Chapel, 11636 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
