Ollie M. Sturgill

Ollie Mae Sturgill age 81 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her home. She was born April 9, 1935 in Hayman, KY to the late Frank and Johnie Mae (Keebler) Bruner. Ollie was a member of Harvest Ministry, in Maxwell and graduated from Whitesburg High School. She was a homemaker, worked at Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Indiana Box Company and Linders Ice Cream Company. Ollie enjoyed collecting dolls/angels, clocks, shopping at garage sales, listening to Blue Grass, Honky-Tonk, Elvis and Gospel music. She is survived by her children, Glenn Sturgill of Greenfield, Terry Sturgill of New Palestine, Ernest "Mike" Sturgill of Knightstown, Oscar "Bubby" Sturgill of Greenfield, Clarence Sturgill of Knightstown, Thomas Sturgill of Greenfield, Patricia Neal of Greenfield, Judy McGinnis of Greenfield, brothers, Eugene Bruner of Indianapolis, Bennie Bruner of Greenfield, sister, Jessie Fields of Kentucky, Rhonda Mullins of Kentucky, 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband, Oscar Sturgill, step mother, Mildred Bruner, sister, Vesta Sandlin and 1 great granddaughter, Kaylee Sturgill. Visitation will held from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday at the funeral home with burial to immediately follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
