Pamela Sue Bless

Pamela Sue Bless, 70, Greenfield, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021. Pamela was born on April 8, 1950 in Indianapolis to George Allen and Dorothy Mae (Hickey) Bless. She is a 1968 graduate of Lawrence Central High School. Pamela celebrated 36 years of employment working as a claims representative with the Social Security Office in both Indianapolis and Lawrence before retiring in 2010. She enjoyed needle point, reading, creating stained-glass works of art, and going out to eat. She was an avid dog lover. Although Pamela was fiercely independent, she looked forward to being around her family, nieces, and nephews. Pamela is survived by her loving siblings: Nancy Gilleran (Mike Gilleran), Rebecca (David) Beck, and Deb (Morse) Hartwell III; special niece, kidney donor to her aunt, and caretaker, Amy Walton; additional nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alana Bless; and brother, Patrick Bless. Per Pamela's request, there will be a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date. Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, has been honored to assist Pamela and her family during this untimely passing. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Pamela to the donor's choice.
