Pat Souder

Pat Souder December 27, 1914 - December 24, 2007 Pat Souder, age 94, passed away Monday, December 24, 2007 at the Ellison House in Greenfield. Born December 27, 1914 in Greenfield, Indiana and is the daughter of the late Leonard and Myrtle (Scott) Reese. A graduate of Greenfield High School, the bookkeeper/secretary for Souder Farms and many of their other business ventures. She was a member of the Currys Chapel United Methodist Church, Greenfield and Eden Order of the Eastern Star and Indiana Charolais Association. Surviving include two daughters Pattee Yater of Greenfield and Loretta Pope of Greenfield; two sisters; Ruth Williams of Frankfort, IN, Marjorie Wille of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Souder whom she married on Feb. 19, 1935, grandson Sam Yater and two sisters; Esther Oakes and Frances Merchant. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
