Patricia Held Hardin

Patricia "Pat" (Held) Hardin November 30, 1923 - January 26, 2011 Patricia (Held) Hardin, 87, a resident of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Morristown Manor. She was born November 30, 1923 in Morristown, Indiana and was the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Devening) Held. Pat was a graduate of Morristown High School, was executive secretary at Eli Lilly and a member of the Morristown Christian Church. She was a well known golfer in Greenfield and around the state holding different offices in the Indiana State Womens Golf Association and competing in many tournaments. She enjoyed playing bridge and was involved in the Elks and Greenfield Country Clubs. She is survived by son, Mike (Lynn) Hardin of Greenfield; daughter, Ann (Mike) Porter of Goshen, IN; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert "Bob" Held; sisters, Jean Shelton and Marcia Wells; brother-in-law, Quin McLoughlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell "Bill" Hardin in 2002 and five siblings. Funeral service will be Friday, February 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery.
