Patricia A. Johnson

Patricia A. Johnson, 81, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on December 17, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Russell and Hazel (Osborne) Loehr.

Pat attended Hancock Central High School. After high school, she worked as a medical secretary in the emergency department at Hancock Regional Hospital for over thirty-five years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting, caring for her cats, antiquing, attending Brandywine Community Church, and being involved in the Jesus Loves You Homeless Ministry for many years with her husband, Dale. 

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Dale Johnson, whom she married on July 11, 1964; daughter, Cyndi Dunbar; sons, Russell P. Johnson and Dale L. (Debbie) Johnson; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by two siblings, Dale and Marilyn Loehr; as well as a grandson, Aaron P. Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E New Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
