Patricia L. Modglin June 28, 1935 - February 18, 2011 Patricia L. Modglin, 75, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at her home. She was born June 28, 1935 in Murphysboro, Illinois to the late Floyd and Pauline (Dameron) Childers. Patricia worked for the Marion County Home as a nursing assistant for 25 years as well as the Sugar Creek Chateau for 19 years. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield and enjoyed dancing and bowling. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Modglin of Greenfield; grandchildren, Jane Unger and Rob Early; 7 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Destiny, Katie, Taylor, Breaden and Xavier; brothers, Bill Childers of Illinois, Alvin Childers of Utah; sisters, Ethel Mae Clutts, Karen Sue Berkey and Bernadette Cold, all of Illinois, Sara Greer of Washington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. "Jack Modglin in 1992; brother, Jim Childers, Jr; sisters, Rose Marie Dunn, Judith Ann Richey and Phyllis J. Stanton. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Patricia L.
