Patricia Ann (Parrish) Borgmann

Patricia Ann (Parrish) Borgmann, 92, New Palestine, IN, passed away on October 17, 2024, at Woodland Terrace. Patricia was born on January 20, 1932, in Indianapolis, IN, to Lowell Earl and Ellen Reese (Jackson) Parrish. She is a 1949 graduate of Warren Central High School. Not long after graduation, Patricia met her future husband, Kenneth L. Borgmann, while she was waitressing at a restaurant where he was eating.

Patricia worked at IMI and at Eli Lily in the '70s. She would later join forces with her husband in the real estate industry, co-owning and co-operating Borgmann Realty. Patricia was an excellent cook and shared her recipes with family, especially for german potato salad and iced tea. She and Kenneth loved to travel and their adventures often took them to the beach and ocean. Patricia enjoyed crafting, especially needle point, crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She and Ken collected antiques. And did we mention her love for ice cream?

Patricia is survived by her loving children: Amy Borgmann (Dan Young) and Alan Borgmann; 3 grandchildren: Christopher (Emily) Borgmann, Brian (Ashley) Borgmann, and Jacob Borgmann; 3 great-grandchildren: Khloe, Keegan, and Karl Borgmann; and Kenneth's siblings: Floyd (Margie) Borgmann, Marie (Jack) Ayers, Mildred Harter, and Marilyn (Doug) Polly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Kenneth L. Borgmann of 70 years; and son, David Borgmann.
