Patricia Ann Stortzum

Patricia Ann Stortzum, age 77 of Greenfield swam home Tuesday morning on March 28, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice in Greenfield. She was born November 9, 1939 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late George E. and Fannie E. (Boucher) Van Duyn. She was a homemaker, QMA for Brandywine Nursing Home and a security guard for BFI. She was a foster grandparent for the Boys and Girls Club of Hancock County Day Care. she enjoyed reading, playing on her iPad with her great grandson and great niece and was an avid Greenfield Eagle Watcher. She is survived by her son, Larry Meece of Greenfield; daughter, Karla Nelson of Greenfield; brother, Jerry Van Duyn of Anderson; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; brothers, William Van Duyn; George Van Duyn; Dennis Van Duyn; and sisters, Mary Lou Holden; Sherry Van Duyn; an infant son. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday March 31, 2017 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
