Pattee L. Yater July 10, 1939 - January 14, 2011
Pattee L. Yater, 71, a lifelong resident of Greenfield, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born July 10, 1939 in Greenfield to the late James E. and Helen E. "Pat" (Reece) Souder.
Pattee was a graduate of Hancock Central, a homemaker, member of Currys Chapel, O.E.S., Tri-Kappa, 4-H, past member of the Greenfield Country Club, National and Indiana Association of Charolais Breeders and hair dresser.
She is survived by daughters, Elizabeth A. "Liz" Anderson of Greenfield, Jennifer J. "Jenny" Yater of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna, and Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Adrianna, Ava; sister, Loretta R. Pope.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Yater, 1999; son, David J. "Sam" Yater, 2004.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

I am so sorry for your loss. Pattee was a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of being at her house during high school with Liz. You are in my thoughts " and prayers.

I cannot begin to describe how many lives Patty has touched. She was important to so many people and especially her close loved ones. She will be truly missed but " never forgotten. I am so sad that this day has come. Rest In Piece Grandma Patty. We all love you so much, and will miss you.

I am very saddened by Pattee's passing. We were classmates, Class of 1957, HCHS. A former friend of her's and Dave's is my dentist here in Alaska, Leonard " Yuknis. I am sure he sends his best wishes...He is out of Alaska till next month. Sympathies, Budd Goodyear

I was so saddened to hear that Pattee had passed, she was an awesome person and loved by everyone who know her. She will be greatly missed, but now she is " home with Dave and Sam. Rest in Peace, we love you Pattee.
