Patty Meid

Patty Meid September 22, 1932 - April 22, 2011 Patty Meid, 78, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at Regency Place of Greenfield. She was born September 22, 1932 in Linton, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Smith and Pauline (Frye) Reed. Patty worked at Senior Services in Greenfield, enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her four children; Greig (Julie) Meid of Carthage, Paula Ann Meid of Greenwood, Gayle Marie Hodge of Greenfield, Jacquelyn Ellen Hampton of Greenfield; 6 grandchildren, Dustin, Brian, Lori, Joseph, Kelly, Victoria; 9 great-grandchildren; half- brother, Bill Reed; half-sister, Nyla, both of Linton, IN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Greig Meid in 1971 and a sister, Greathel Kates. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield.
