Paul W. Herbert March 21, 1939 - September 26, 2009 Paul W. Herbert, 70, a resident of Wilkinson, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born March 21, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio and was the son of the late Norman and Edna (Hamilton) Herbert. Paul was a 1957 graduate of North High School in Columbus, Ohio. He retired from AT&T as a production technician specialist after 34 years of service and also retired from New Palestine High School as a grounds keeper after 8 years of service. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Greenfield, was a member of a horseshoe club in New Castle and enjoyed bowling in a league in Greenfield. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Herbert of Wilkinson; children, Shaun (Kathy) Herbert; Dawn (Mike) Jessup; Vaughn (Deana) Herbert; step-children, Tina (Paul) Bright; Cheryl (Danny) Clark; Anita Treloar; 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barb (Pearl) Gamble and Debbie (Jim) Lynch; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Herbert. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 1:30 pm at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Parker officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson. Friends may call Monday, September 28, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel.
