Paul Franklin Kirkpatrick

Paul F. Kirkpatrick, age 79 of Chesterfield, Indiana passed away suddenly on July 31, 2023, at Community Hospital Anderson. He was born January 15, 1944, in New Castle, Indiana to the late Clyde G. and Marjorie (Gambrel) Kirkpatrick. Paul was a 1962 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and always enjoyed attending his annual class reunions. Prior to his retirement in 1998, Paul enjoyed a 33-year career at Delco Remy, Plant 21, Anderson.

Paul had a zest for life and was an avid collector of Texaco sign memorabilia, collectable cars, and anything else that piqued his interest. Above all, Paul was a man completely devoted to his family and was supportive of all their interests no matter the distance. He was an avid golfer, and local history buff. He enjoyed all sports, motorsports, and most of all his grandkids' sports. Paul was a former member of the Lion's Club of New Castle and the New Castle Historical Society.

He is survived by his children, Stacy Kirkpatrick (Michelle Lewandowski), and Dana Beth Kirkpatrick (Erin Widner); grandchildren, Danielle Kirby, Daniel "Danny" Kirby, Delaney Kirby, Kyle Kirkpatrick, Seth Kirkpatrick, and Macy Kirkpatrick; great grandson, Zane Kirby; siblings, Claude Kirkpatrick, Joyce Durman, Judy Hites, and Nancy Driver; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; mother of their children, Susie Hacker; daughter, Christine Kirkpatrick; sister, Linda McCutchen, and brother, Jack Kirkpatrick.

Calling will be 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, Monday, August 7, 2023, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral service at 1:00 pm with burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
