Phyllis G. Hufferd October 9, 1921 - August 10, 2009 Phyllis G. Hufferd, 87, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born October 9, 1921 in Hancock County to the late James R. and Bertha F. (Wilhelm) Harrison. Phyllis was a 1939 graduate of Greenfield High School, worked for the Indiana Board of Pharmacy for seventeen years and retired in 1983 as secretary from Hooks Drug Company, Indianapolis after 25 years of service. She was a member of Greenfield Friends Church, volunteered for the Hancock Regional Hospital Guild for 35 years, was past president and honorary member. She is survived by her husband, Hubert Hufferd of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Hazle P. Murphy and Ruth R. Holmes. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastors Rick Schoeff and Paul Enyart officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
