Phyllis M. Johnson

Phyllis M. Johnson, age 86 of Greenfield, IN, passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born on April 27, 1931 in Greenfield to the late Floyd W. & Ilo M. (Kennedy) Campbell. Phyllis graduated from Greenfield High School in 1950 and spent most of her career as a homemaker caring for her family. She was a devoted member of Greenfield Faith United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, and was involved with the UMW. Phyllis enjoyed crossword puzzles, flower gardening, coloring books, but most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. Left to cherish Phyllis memory are her children, Alton (Debbie) Johnson Jr. of Indianapolis; Janet S. Cline of Greenfield; Anita L. Johnson of Greenfield; sister, Lauralee Overlin of Anderson; brother, Wesley E. Campbell Sr. of Willow Branch; and grandchildren, Joshua Cline; Matthew Cline; Timothy (Kim) Cline; Shannon (Ken) Rustin; Shelly Harvey; Keven Harvey; Sherri Harvey; Luke Johnson; and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceding Phyllis in death are her parents mentioned above; husband, Alton "Al" Johnson Sr.; and daughter, Donna Johnson. Visitation for Phyllis will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 1:00pm with Pastor Brent Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, 621 S. State St, Greenfield, IN 46140.
