Phyllis (Kelly) Thomas

Phyllis Thomas, age 77 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, at her home. She was born January 27, 1944, in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Alonzo and Myrtle (Moore) Kelly. Phyllis married Pastor Roy Thomas, Sr. on May 22, 1970. Together they made their home in Greenfield where Roy was pastor for Apostolic Pentecostal Church and Phyllis was a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano at church for many years. She also enjoyed sewing, watching the birds, painting, and shopping. She is survived by her children: Shannon (Heather) Thomas, Terisa Thomas, Roy Thomas, Jr., Billy Joe Thomas and Bobbie Jo Thomas; and grandchildren: Jade Ernst, John Thomas, Nicholas Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Kaylee Adams, and MandyJane Thomas. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Thomas, Sr., and several siblings. Calling will be 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, December 10, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Riggs officiating.
