Phyllis L Russell May 16, 1925 - April 23, 2012 Phyllis l. Russell age 86 years, a resident of Westfield and former resident of Greenfield passed away Tuesday April 23, 2012 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus, Noblesville. She was born May 16, 1925 in Bedford, Iowa to the late Ben Sanders & Willie A. (Scott) Cameron. She was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church, the Womens Church Circle, the B.P.W., was a homemaker, worked for Danner Brothers and did upholstery work at her home for friends and family. Phyllis enjoyed playing Bridge, baking, helping at the church and especially loved playing game with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Kipp Koonce) Keating of Westfield, Ind., son, Ronald D. (Jennifer) Russell of Greenfield, sisters, Dorothy Calton of Lebanon, Mo., Jerry Walden of Greenfield, Juanita Jackson of Greenfield, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Russell in 1990, daughter, Cheryl K. Shirk in 1986, and her brothers, Lloyd, Floyd, Lee and Johnny. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday April 30, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
