Phyllis M. Tanner

Phyllis M. (McPherson) Tanner, age 79 of Greenfield passed away October 18, 2022, at Hancock Health. She was born August 26, 1943, in Greenfield to the late John A. and Mary (Stanley) McPherson Adams.

Phyllis was a life-long Hancock County resident. She was raised in a large loving family and enjoyed the time they spent together. Phyllis and her husband Larry Tanner enjoyed 54 years of marriage. They made their home in Greenfield and raised their son.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Larry Tanner; son, John Tanner; sisters, Tonya Baker, Sylvia Settles, and Marsha Powell; sister-in-law, Tami McPherson.

She is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above; stepfather, Casey Adams; brothers, Edgar, Royce, Richard, Terry, and Ricky; sisters, Patricia, Janet, Debra, Sue, Jackie, Debbie, and Trina.

Funeral service with Pastor Roger Kinion officiating will be 6:00 pm, Wednesday, 26, 2022 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Friends may call from 3:00 until the time of service.
