Phyllis A Wilber May 17, 1935 - November 2, 2014 Phyllis A. Wilber, age 79 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born May 17, 1935 in Indianapolis to Howard and Lula (Patrick) Allsup. She was married in January of 1951 to Alton J. Wilber and this marriage was blessed with one son and three daughters. Phyllis enjoyed volunteering for Pioneers of America and Special Olympics. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and pets. Phyllis worked at Western Electric of Indianapolis and then of Ohio for 30 years and retired in 1986. She also worked at Mutual Hospital for 10 years. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Lula, and her husband Alton. Phyllis is survived by her son Jack A. Wilber of Austin, TX, her daughters, Gail D. Kendall of Greenfield, Beverly A. (Ernie) Johnson of Wilkinson, Darla S. Wilber of Greenfield, her special cousin, Shirley Knight, grandchildren, Jim Niedenthall Jr., Paul Niedenthall, Brandon Johnson, Bradley Johnson, great-grandchildren, Devon, Shania, Savannah, and Ellana Niedenthall, step great-grandchildren, Tyleah Williams, Jada Craft, Cheyanne Hollers, special family members, Joyce Holliday, Jabet Arnett, Talena Arnett Lee, her beloved dog, MiMi Wilber, and many feral cats. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Services will also be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Burial at Park Cemetery will follow. Casual dress is encouraged for both days of services.
